There is an election at the Software-QS-Tag, too: Participants submit proposals for the focus of the conference 2018

Moehrendorf, 25 September 2017 – For 25 years, the Software-QS-Tag – the leading conference for software QA and testing in Germany – addresses itself each time to a new forward-looking guiding theme from the area of IT quality assurance. So who could know better, what currently taxes the brains of the community, than the community itself? That’s why the online brainstorming for the focus of Software-QS-Tag 2018 starts in the same-named XING group today. Participants of this year’s event as well as of those of the years before are invited to submit their proposals.

Only a few days are left before this year’s Software-QS-Tag takes place on 19 and 20 October 2017 and the preparations for 2018 are already in full swing. Which topic has the potential for mesmerizing and thrilling 500 attendees for two days next year? It will run like a golden thread through all technical lectures, tutorials and workshops – divided in the five parallel tracks „Requirements “, „Test Automation“, „Test Design“, „Test Management“ and „Special Topics“. For that reason, it should be possible to break the suggested guiding themes down into the separate tracks.
The pivotal element of the idea gathering is the group “Software-QS-Tag” at xing.com. Only registered participants of this years’ conference and former conferences have access to the community. Deadline for the submission of possible topics is 19 November 2017.
The community’s feedback on the posted ideas will be ascertained by an online poll. The ranking places as well as the programme committee’s professional assessment decide which topic will become the focus for 2018. At the beginning of next year, the official conference theme will be proclaimed.
The participant who posts the winning theme will be invited as VIP to attend for free the conference 2018. Lest there should be more persons who submit the winning theme during the action, the winner of the VIP ticket will be chosen at random.
