The Open Source Monitoring Conference (OSMC) is aimed at administrators, developers and decision-makers from the OS environment who want to expand their knowledge and inform themselves about the latest software developments. The broadly-based conference program offers both beginners as well as long-term industry experts the option to actively deal with issues relating to open source monitoring. The last tickets can be purchased at www.osmc.de.
On the first day of the conference you will have the opportunity to participate in one of four workshops „Elastic Stack – Modern Log File Management“, „Icinga 2 – Distributed Monitoring“, „Timeseries & Analysis with Graphite and Grafana“ and „Ansible – Configuration Management“.
The core of the conference will be the lectures on November 22nd and 23rd. Broken down into the three subject areas „Projects“, „User Stories“ and „Technologies“, a broad spectrum is covered here. High-class speakers such as Alba Ferri Fitó (Vodafone), Rihards Olups (Nokia), Martin Schurz (T-Systems), James Shubin (Red Hat), Holger Koch (DB Systel GmbH), Walter Heck (OlinData), Jan Doberstein (Graylog Inc.), Bodo Schulz (CoreMedia) and many more.
On the last day of the conference there will be a hackathon again because of the great success in the previous years, in which the participants are cordially invited to contribute their own suggestions and to work independently on small projects.
